It sucks to be poor. It sucked when you were eight and couldn’t buy a pack of cookies you wanted. It sucked when you were 13 and couldn’t get those Lee Press On nails you just had to have. It sucked in college when your spring break trip consisted of driving to the mall and filling out applications for a summer job. It sucked in your twenties when you realized getting paid was a chance to pay your bills…and nothing more. And now, in your thirties, when you thought you had finally left ramen noodles behind and started along the road to prosperity, here comes life “in this economy” and you are back to square one. This time at least you’re laughing.

I understand but sometimes I can’t just sit and dwell on it. I have to move forward and try to find the humor in it or else it will eat me alive. I hope you continue to read the blog and find the humor in what we post.
